My name is Sophia Potter and welcome to my education and development blog that focuses on the subject of mathematics. As the mother of four children, I believe that it's important for children to have a clear understanding of mathematics. It's too easy today for children to use calculators to solve math problems and when they do, they don't know how to figure out the answer themselves. When I was in school, math was my favorite subject and I learned everything I could about all types of mathematics including algebra, calculus, geometry and trigonometry.
